Okay, here we go. A first….two posts in a day. Today's libation on this rainy Sunday is a smooth red blend appropriately named Double Shotgun, with a little Quiet Man as a chaser.
Many may not know what a shotgun shack is, much less Double Shotgun. Much better to be inside Chalet Normandie-on-the-Hill relaxing with the Khaleesi and the Hounds in anticipation of a rather busy week.
My last post was about stepping back and viewing the Big Picture. There are so many moving parts. The ones that have my attention at the moment are The Twitter Thing and FTX. They are connected, to be sure, as the same shadowy, nefarious forces are attempting to LeftWash both. LeftWash? Minimizing, obfuscating and disappearing events embarrassing to or contradicting the Prevailing Narrative is LeftWash.
Let's start with FTX. Probably the biggest financial crime and political influence-peddling case in recorded history… it's there right in front of us, dirty as sin, for all to see. Biden and the DNC send taxpayer money (well, really 0’s and 1’s) as aid to Ukraine, Ukraine invests in FTX (wasn't that “aid” for fighting the Russians? Kind of like the weapons supplied that are making their way into the black market), FTX makes ENORMOUS campaign contributions to Democratic candidates (and select RINOs). But what's going on about it in the media? It's worse than “nothing to see here, move along”. George Stephanopoulos interviews the culprit, Sam Bankman-Fried (whose momma, BTW, is Stanford faculty and a Leftist fundraiser funneling Silicon Valley money to Democrats), and the perp claims he just didn't “understand risk management” while supposedly managing billions of dollars in cryptocurrency investments. As an aside would someone in the Comments section please explain to me how crypto differs from fiat currency “printed” by the Fed? Inquiring minds want to know…

I'm no business major, but I don't remember “misaccounting” in the curriculum. The adolescent, almost child-like, tone of SBF in the GMA interview tells me he's either a total patsy or deserves consideration for an Oscar, or at least a daytime Emmy. Why isn't he before a Congressional committee, or at least in an interrogation facility? Hell, I'd want protective custody, unless some nebulous entity is repaying those digital 0s and 1s in exchange for silence.
The Left is furiously working to get ahead of the story with their narrative.
Any ideas about who's covering SBF’s tracks, and those of his underwriters? Uh-huh
While the Left and its cabal enjoys the benefit of the First Amendment while laying smoke and building the narrative of FTX as seemingly innocent financial mismanagement rather than an obvious crime with national security implications, it seeks to silence anyone criticizing it and exposing its crimes and misdeeds. I have a LOT of concerns about Elon Musk, especially when one considers his views on transhumanism and AI. While he considers AI a threat to civilization, his solution is to embed humans with AI to avert the risk…

We've all seen the hyperbolic reactions to his purchase of Twitter, proposed changes and terminations of the censors. While he backpedaled to the ADL, which I feel was a mistake - in the marketplace of ideas, if yours is a bad one, it should perish - his publication of internal communications regarding interference with the 2020 electoral process should lead to a spate of indictments, convictions and fines and/or incarceration.
My prediction, though, is that it won't. Musk has already tweeted that if he dies it won't be suicide. It's not a hollow threat
The civil conflict has begun, folks, and it's for all the marbles. Clown World is in the rear-view mirror, and Homey don't play
Don't think so? This week’s events in North Carolina seems to tell a different story

Amazing what a non-scary non-assault deer rifle can do, isn't it? The 100gr bullet that CA took the eight-point with that Thanksgiving Saturday, shot from my Dad’s pre-64 Model 70 264 Winchester Magnum, rockets along, holding most of its 3000+ fps out to 500 yards. Thats a lot of kinetic energy for a substation transformer to absorb without malfunction. Many have warned about this Achilles heel of our power transmission system since that obvious 2013 beta-test out in Metcalf, California which had “little effect on the station’s power supply”….uh-huh, sure.

So someone obviously exploited this weak link. Or, as some have suggested, this could have been the work of a government malefactor setting the stage for false flaggage. Weak links abound, everywhere. Depending on what happens this upcoming Friday, the rail strike deadline set before the Congresscritters decided to channel Josef Stalin, these events could escalate with variable penetrance. If those rail workers ignore the Pretenders-on-the-Potomac and sit on their hands, it will be an interesting holiday season.
I mean, they're only going to double down and get the most out of their J6 Committee while they can, aren't they? With unrelenting, unrepentant “leaders” like this, how can we not slide down the slopes into the oblivion of conflict?
Stay frosty, check your stores, keep your eyes open, listen more than you speak and Don't Get Sick!
If I could do a picture in the comments I would do the "corporate wants you to find the difference between these two pictures" meme with bitcoin and fiat greenbacks, because there is no difference.
Open society (some of it still) and open infrastructure. Of course the government has already sabotaged some of that themselves (Jackson MS and Flint MI water, CA electric, etc).
