Dancing with Stalin
Let me blow in your ear
Greetings….so much we could consider discussing here that's happening, it's tempting to carve out an individual event and dissect it, but upon stepping back and breathing deeply, it seems they are, in our interconnected world, somehow all intertwined. In reference to my last post and the responsibility of those Awakened, I believe that appreciating the big picture is at once both a difficult and terrifying transition for people to make. It's not like those Awakened should feel anointed with special status; no, they've just made the jump to hyperspace
and now they need to show everyone else where the Warpspeed (no, not Mango Caesar’s vaccine …. that's another post) button is
Yes, it’s daunting and exhausting. Our enemies won't cancel their plans, therefore we cannot rest. My vow is to make my postings here more frequent; my goal is thrice weekly.
What motivated me to dance on the keyboard this early (4am CST) Sunday morning was a news piece I saw about the rail strike, now supposedly averted by Congressional diktat
https://www.thestreet.com/video/national-rail-strike-would-be-absolutely-crippling
There is ample precedent, in Congress’ collective mind, for legislation forcing rail unionists to work. Raised in the South in a self-employed family, I was imbued with a natural emnity for all things union, although it appears to me they are part of the balance of power in the marketplace. Like all organizational entities, they are rife with corruption. Regarding rail strikes, WaPo (yes, 🤮) did a nice piece on their history

At least two sides always exist in every argument. Both have some merit. A strike WOULD slow us to a crawl and if the Teamsters and the truckers join in, well
Not predicting that would happen, but the rail workers are requesting some things that are just, well, humane. Like being allowed to use negotiated paid time off for sickness or vacation, bring allowed to go to the restroom once per shift, and not performing the jobs of two or three. I know some rail workers, they're just working folks like everyone else
But a lot of them have unique skillsets and experiences that they bring to the table, and therein lies the rub…..the COVID economy pulled the scab from a festering wound in the American economy: we're increasingly ignorant and untrained.
In my last post I mentioned how my clinic had nine applicants for a low-skill position and SEVEN of them listed their most recent employer as McDonald's. A dearth of skilled labor arising from educational trendlines AWAY from VoTech (recall the student loan debacle currently smouldering…lotsa green for those gender studies degrees, huh?) and a century of patient, relentless, purposeful marxist (lack of capitalization intentional) infiltration of education at all levels is now visibly manifest.

It's not just skilled labor, but every economic sector, including my own

Physicians, too, are in short supply in certain specialties and EVERYONE is busy, near or at capacity (calm down, doctor haters, I'll address loss of trust in my chosen profession in an upcoming post. I hate us, too). We are told that we cannot strike, like rail workers, and if we do, it has to be planned and must maintain ESSENTIAL services, which from place to place and time to time could include any and every potential eventuality

They keep nabbing us on that Hippocratic Oath thing…
I don't remember anything about Apollo in mine 34 years ago, and the oaths now being taken seem to be sworn to different Gods, in this case that of DEI and Wokeism…

…so I see that whole ethical choke-chain as rusty and broken. My profession’s behavior during COVID pretty much relegated our honor and integrity to the dustbin of history.
How does this all relate? If a government can tell employees of one private enterprise (yes, yes railroads are publicly held and heavily regulated, but just dance with me for a minute or two, let me blow in your ear) that they HAVE to work but tell others to stay home and live on a stimulus check, how does that government have any credibility? Like telling non-college-educated welders and plumbers that they must pony up to cancel student debt? A hallmark of a totalitarian society is that those in charge, rather than the free market, pick the winners and losers, kind of like this guy
Seeeeeee? It's like a giant quilt, which TPTB want to smother us with.
I saw a nice comment on LinkedIn yesterday in response to this post about hospitals and government money. It seems relevant, just bear with me
https://www.statnews.com/2022/12/01/new-essential-hospital-designation-isnt-needed/
The HORROR! The torrent of criticism directed at Elise Amoz-Droz by the establishment drones was too much for one…
Thus far, crickets in response.
2022 has been a long, tough, disappointing year but one affirming the worst in my conspiratorial mind
Well, Ned’s got a bit less than a month remaining to practice squealing like a pig (for those younger among us not recognizing those above, it's from the movie “Deliverance”, worth your time)…. 2023 looks to be a real festive and eventful year. TL Davis put it succintly…

Free your mind, stay frosty and don't get sick….

A LOT of truth in that ^^^^

My Dermatologist is ALWAYS busy.
As to trust, there are three professions that are bathed in it -- Doctors, Lawyers and Judges. If any one of them is not upholding a standard of excellence long term they are out of a job. Those they serve will just stop showing up. To the medical profession in particular, the whole lot should have gone on strike the minute the EUA for The Jab was authorized. It was contrary to the basics of health: You don't start immunizing in the middle of a pandemic only to trigger variant selection. Since I have been on this planet the use of a EUA was selective not broad based. Those were the Tells that the profession should have raised hell about and walked out.
