The ratio is shifting and not favorable, too many parasites and dependents, not enough producers. Automation and AI isn't going to advance quickly enough to make up the difference and when the ratio hits the sweet spot? The wheels come off. Assuming of course we don't die in a nuclear fire first.

These awful times are self correcting problems that "we" often find ourselves of the opinion "we" hold the answers to.

As I age through experience in a life of service my conviction grows that the way forward is something of an ants march.

Of ourselves, there's little chance of changing tides.

Recognizing our tangible place in the over arching reality and ones true ability to affect change within arms reach defines sanity.

When we live the lives that bring others along that path, that's when the magic occurs.

Have faith and be of good cheer.

A lot of us in the producer class are seceding. We do not participate to the extent we can. We are forming parallel systems as a precursor to new nations. https://rumble.com/v1fc86n-i-do-not-participate.html

"...hits the sweet spot?"

Well consider that we are approaching $31Tn in current liabilities. The govt takes in about $3Tn in annual tax receipts. The Fed is considering raising the 10yr Treasury note another 75 basis points. That will get us to 4.50%. If this continues we could reach 10% rates, then what? Well I can tell you what does not happen:

No payroll for govt parasites. The grift stops. No defense budget. No wealth transfers. The entire gross receipts of the government is consumed to pay the interest on the debt. Which also means that the government can't roll over the current liabilities as there will be no takers for the new TBills. (See Japan).

As to AI, I always find it amusing when some futurist opines AI will save us I point out that AI does not pay taxes. Only later do they understand the fundamentals of that statement.

For me personally nuking this ball of dust would be no concern. I have emptied my bucket list some time ago. I fight for my kids now. It is all that is left.

This is one of your best rants yet my sun and moon. It's a conversation you and I discuss almost daily.

We ARE the producer class. Although our numbers are fleeting, we should find some comfort, if even a smidge, knowing we are/did our best. Isn't there something about that in the Eagle Scout Creed?

We do not succumb to the masses around us. We stand our ground; we fight to the death to save our souls.

“So many men have tried to kill me, I don’t remember all their names. I have been

sold like a broodmare...Do you know what kept me standing through all those years

in exile? Faith. Not in any gods, not in myths and legends. In myself.

In Daenerys Targaryen.”

Don't' despair my Great Stallion. We weren't the popular kids in school, what made you think we'd ever be the beloved? Stand tall and be proud you are IN the "oddball group." We are the ridiculed smart kids. Smart enough to know true happiness is loving and appreciating what we have. We have worked hard for everything we've built. Everything we are. No handouts, No Bid Daddies to run to. Only ourselves to survive. The formula was true when we were young. It is still true today. Now finish your daily struggles, leave the battlefield and come home to me, and the cocktail waiting for you.

It's very simple, the requirements for being allowed to vote are too lax, too many of the dependant class are voting themselves the treasury. The right to vote should be earned; not bought, but earned.
