The Insurance companies had a hand in both Hillarycare and Obamacare. John Alden Health went all in on Hillarycare and lost almost everything when it failed. A friend called Obamacare the Kaiser Permanente profits act.
Obamacare also allowed major corporations to save money by disallowing Cadillac insurance plans. I miss those $100 hospital visit copays.
I have a Concierge physician. I was seeing him before he left his practice when they were bought by Atrium Health. He has a yearly fee but my HSA pays $600 into my account for yearly labs and physical so that seems to pay for it. I'm lucky. I liked my Doctor and got to keep him.
