My general rule of thumb going forward: unless I see it with my own eyes or hear it from someone I know and trust, I assume it is bullshit.

I have until recently always used the rule of "three". Three separate normally reliable sources saying the same probably validates the story as truthful.

These days, I even doubt close friends I know working in politics or government agencies. I'm probably up to the rule of "thirty" about now.

Ha!

It does make me feel less alone, thanks.

Gotta admit, Doc, I've been ruined for a long time. The words "respectable" and "mainstream" are now antonyms. I was reading a post earlier from someone who had "inside info" on the Russian "coup." The same single source over and over again. I was brought up to double-check and find two corroborating sources. On anything like what we've just seen in Russia, three is not enough. But we who have been paying attention for any length of time know that the left only tells the truth to the left, and then it's not always. In early 2008, the vision I had of Obama was of him raping someone while yelling out, "I. am. not. ra. ping. you. I. am. not. ra. ping. you." I think it turned out to be pretty prophetic.

I believe there is a realization that because the US government and their world elite masters/military/Deep State are fundamentally and irrevocably criminal the only option left is revolution. Nobody wants violence so there appears to be nowhere to go, thus the complacency. If a nonviolent pathway to reform were shown, people would get behind the process despite the costs.

The totalitarianism, for example Covid, is nothing compared to what’s coming. Once the debt demands attention, and the CBDC is instituted, complete totalitarianism will be ushered in. It’s alllll about power.

Trudeau‘s ability to seize bank accounts will be seen as child’s play compared to the power of these people with the CBDC.

Bow down or suffer extreme persecution will be the only choices.
